Purpose
The Electronic Learning and Assessment Unit is to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality of service delivery for digital learning materials and assessment tests operations.
Responsibilities and Roles
- Unit Head
- Oversees efficiency and innovation of ELA.
- IT Electronic Learning / Computer-Based Assessment Coordinator
- Ensures operational reliability, efficiency, and user satisfaction of ELA.
- IT System Administration / Analysis
- Maintains system uptime, provides user support, and diagnoses test issues.
- System Engineers
- Responsible for reducing the time taken to complete hardware repairs or replacements.
Reporting Procedure
- Daily meetings of staff with the Unit Head.
- Weekly progress reports submitted by each staff to the Unit Head.
- Monthly reports and reviews with the Director of COMSIT.
Escalation Procedure
- Issues are escalated first to the Unit Head.
- Unresolved issues are reported to the Director of COMSIT.
