STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE (SOP)

Purpose

The Electronic Learning and Assessment Unit is to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality of service delivery for digital learning materials and assessment tests operations.


Responsibilities and Roles

  1. Unit Head
    • Oversees efficiency and innovation of ELA.
  2. IT Electronic Learning / Computer-Based Assessment Coordinator
    • Ensures operational reliability, efficiency, and user satisfaction of ELA.
  3. IT System Administration / Analysis
    • Maintains system uptime, provides user support, and diagnoses test issues.
  4. System Engineers
    • Responsible for reducing the time taken to complete hardware repairs or replacements.

Reporting Procedure

  1. Daily meetings of staff with the Unit Head.
  2. Weekly progress reports submitted by each staff to the Unit Head.
  3. Monthly reports and reviews with the Director of COMSIT.

Escalation Procedure

  1. Issues are escalated first to the Unit Head.
  2. Unresolved issues are reported to the Director of COMSIT.
